Cathy McSweeny is a reading specialist from the United States (MA Columbia University Teachers College). She has over 15 years of teaching children with learning difficulties.

She has co-authorised two books on multi-sensory reading instructions and has published a deck of reading comprehension cards.

Since arriving in Hong Kong in August 2007, Cathy has been teaching children and training teachers in the areas of reading, learning disabilities and multi-sensory instructional methods.
